Our training

We are excited to be offering the NEW International Association for Public Participation’s (IAP2) Global Certificate in Public Participation! This learning program, consisting of 3 core courses, builds on the foundations of public participation training and best practices from around the globe to provide participants with 35 hours of effective training in public participation and engagement.

Upon successful completion of the Certificate in Public Participation, participants receive a "Certificate of Completion" to acknowledge their accomplishment and verify their training hours. 

In 2025-2026, we are offering training in:

• Fall 2025: ONLINE - Designing Public Participation on November 3-5, 2025

• Fall 2025: CALGARY - November 19, 20-21 and 24-25 (deadline to register is end of day November 5th)

• Winter 2026: ONLINE - Fundamentals on January 19-20, Designing Public Participation on January 26-29, Applying Methods on February 9-12, 2026

• Spring 2026: CALGARY - April 8-10 and April 13-14, 2026 (deadline to register is end of day March 25th)
